Warming up the vocal cords to Mariah Carey. Singing in the style of Mariah pushes and stretches my voice to it's limits. When I challenge these limits, these boarders of my highest and lowest range begins to move.these boarders move further apart. My vocal cords get a good work out and begin to build memory. . Memory you are wondering? When singers sing and accurately hit notes they are physically telling their vocal chords to shift to certain specific zones. Soon you land on the desired notes faster and more accurately. This is day 2 of my intense work out. I had to take today off only sining a few songs in the car and on the way home. My voice is very tired. 2 days ago I was having trouble hitting those high notes in the "chest voice" range. verbrato I didnt have much of a and couldn't really keep it together when singing. I forget my verbrato is in my throat and not my diaphragm like i was told to find it. I am surprised to have reached this level in 2 days. I sang for 3 hours non stop both days and then an hour in the evening and again in the shower. If you have checked out my songs on here you will notice that my natural style of sining is not like this. Occasionally I throw in a tid-bit of this in some of my songs. I have my own style and respect that like I respect other styles of music. I would never want to be a copy cat of another. I am just having fun. I
