I think she prolly wanted to go to US's biggest news reporting network, but

Also use strong passwords, pgp encryption, digital signatures, download all
emails to a local machine & store them securely on an alternate cloud
service, use an anonymous re-mailer service or TOR hidden service mail
account. All email stored on traditional web-mail servers (hotmail, gmail,
etc) is vulnerable to unwarranted searches by gov't & hackers.#3.
The NSA doesn't even bother with subpoenas anymore.. If you send it
digitally, they can trace it...#4.
