Homes for Our Troops | Bagge Build BrigadeAdvantis employees participated in a three-day "Build Brigade" in which a specially adapted home was started for SSG Christian Bagge on August 27-29 in Parkdale, Oregon. The three-day event drew more than 300 volunteers from Oregon, Washington, and even California to work on the Bagge home. Bagge and his family - wife Melissa, 3 year old Noah and 10 week old Brynne - were escorted to the construction site Friday morning by Patriot Guard Riders and American Legion Riders in a procession that also included Parkdale and Hood River fire trucks and police cruisers. An emotional opening ceremony included John Gonsalves, President and Founder of Homes for Our Troops, Jake Jensen, Advantis Board Chair, local dignitaries, and Veteran Christian Bagge who expressed his heartfelt thanks for everyone involved.. | ||||
