(More Safer) Boxer Dog Sex Koda, three-year-old Boxer and Mukki, 18-month-old Boxer, mating. This will not result in any puppies since Koda has had a vasectomy, and both dogs tested negative for brucellosis before I allowed this. This is Mukki's second heat cycle. They mated several times on the first (video of one here: www. .youtube.com ) with no problems either and this is working out better than I ever expected. Besides not having to go to a lot of trouble to keep them separated when they normally both do almost everything with me, if Koda were not around to mate with Mukki I have no doubt she'd be trying to escape and find a male who would instead of being obsessed with him like she is. Not that I couldn't or wouldn't keep her confined, but it would be more trouble. Koda also guards her, almost never leaving her side, doesn't want my neutered 12-year-old Retriever mix near her even and I'm sure he'd try to keep any other dog who came around away too. It seems to have strengthened the bond between Koda and Mukki as well. They are closer than any two dogs I've yet had. :) This video would have been more than twice as long had I included their "foreplay." They like to play, chase, box and hump each other for quite awhile before actually mating.
