Noah Having a Bad day 1Formally known as kimholt25! I had to recreate my youtube account. Can not acess my old one for some unknown reason. Very, very frustrated! To all my old subscribers please resubscribe! Noah has had such a long journey but is now feeling some better. His involentary movements started when he was 15 months old.. He went through a year of testing and multiple neurologists before we discovered that he had a Chiari Malformation. He had a Chiari decompression surgery on Sept 22, 2010. Since then he is doing much better. We are still treating his movements with seizure meds but are hoping that in time they will go away. His symtpoms were/are: involentary movements, cry out in pain, tremors, hyper, trantrums, seperation anxiety, decreased motor skills and reflexes, falling all the time, random projectile vomiting, nystagmus, and randomly spikes temps for no reason. Since surgery he seems very calm. He can actually play now and focus on one thing. His tremors are better, he doesnt cry out in pain, he was always borderline underweight, only eat a small amount a day, since surgery he has gained 5.5 pounds, his iron was 10.2 before surgery and 3 wks after it was up to 12.7., He sleeps at night and takes naps. He is overall a happy little boy. We never realized that he was in pain. He never complained only cried a lot. Know that he is older he can express his pain more and we realize that he was in lots before the surgery. We are so thankful to have found his Chiari Malformation. He ... | ||||
